Had an awesome time with friends! We loved riding horses and exploring the scenic mountain biking trails. Staff were super friendly and the views were breathtaking. Perfect spot for a group getaway. The food at the main restaurant was top-notch too.
One downside was when we arrived, we found some amenities missing, like cutlery and the fridge was not working. This made things a bit inconvenient during our self-catering stay.

The cleanliness of my room left much to be desired, as I encountered stains and an overall lack of attention to detail upon arrival.

The setting of Dunkeld is stunning with beautiful scenery and wildlife around the estate. The 1883 restaurant impressed me with its delicious meals at reasonable prices. I enjoyed exploring the area and spotting zebras and springboks during my walks. my accommodation had issues. The room stank of smoke and lacked heating, which became uncomfortable with outside temperatures dropping to 4C. After requesting a room change multiple times, I finally got another room, but it took considerable effort. A broken fireplace added to the disappointment, leaving me cold. It would have been great to have more proactive staff assistance. Despite these issues, the natural beauty and the quality of the food made for a memorable experience.

The setting here offers stunning scenery with beautiful landscapes that provide a peaceful retreat. The on-site restaurant features appetizing meals at reasonable prices, which is a nice touch.
Unfortunately, the room left a lot to be desired. Items like the TV were broken, and there were cleanliness issues with the carpets that hadn't been attended to. The heating was inadequate, making for an uncomfortable stay on chilly nights. there were no mattress protectors on the beds, which felt unhygienic, and the shower had issues with the mixing taps, leaving the water temperature unpredictable.

The stay featured impressive views and a delightful breakfast, but several issues arose. Directing guests to rooms was confusing, as signage was inadequate, and the lack of air conditioning made it uncomfortable. the absence of a proper terrace setup was noticeable, given that the room was intended for couples. Service at the reception was also lacking, primarily regarding internet connectivity.
